DEBBIE REYNOLDS' official cause of death has been revealed, but Carrie Fisher's remains inconclusive, it has been reported.
Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher died just one day apart
According to Carrie's death certificate - which has been released almost two weeks after she passed away on December 27 at the age of 60 on a flight from London to Los Angeles - she died after a "massive heart attack".
E! News - who claim to have obtained the official documents - have listed Carrie's immediate cause of death as "cardiac arrest/deferred".
They added that The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office is now expected to perform more testing including toxicology tests to determine what triggered her heart attack mid-flight.
Debbie then died just day after her daughter on December 28 at the age of 84. TMZ have reported that she died from a blood vessel that ruptured and caused bleeding in her brain.

According to the official papers, which have been obtained by the US publication, Debbie's official cause of death was an intracerebral hemorrhage; which is essentially a stroke. It also lists hypertension as an underlying cause.
The news comes after the pair's touching documentary Bright Lights - which focuses on Carrie's relationship with her mother - aired in the US on Sunday night.
However, the HBO show left viewers rather shocked as Debbie was seen with major bruising to the face.

Both Carrie and her brother Todd spoke openly about their mother in the emotional offering, in which they detail the cause of the purple marks on her face.
Speaking about her accident, Todd informed: "Unfortunately, my mother just fell because she was dizzy walking into her bathroom.
"When we saw her, we were all in horror, because we were like, 'Wait a second, you could have broke your neck and be dead right now'."
Debbie and Carrie were laid to rest at a joint funeral in Los Angeles on Friday.
The previous day a memorial service was held which saw the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Meryl Streep and Meg Ryan attend.
