Abba star Ulvaeus court victory against taxes
Former ABBA star BJORN ULVAEUS has kept hold of £7.5million after winning a court case against Sweden's national tax authority.
The star was victorious in his appeal against his native country's tax office's decision to increase the taxable amount of his income.
Ulvaeus allegedly signed the rights to his royalties over to several different companies, and claimed that excluded them from his personal income, according to Fox News.
Swedish authorities claimed that because the star had access to the money, he should pay taxes on the sum as it falls under the personal income bracket.
But the argument was settled in court, with the judge siding with Ulvaeus - garnering the star millions in tax-free income.
