David and Victoria Beckham raked in £65 million last year… £61,000 a day profit
BRAND BECKHAM had a very successful 12 months in 2014 when they turned over a staggering £65.8 million.
David and Victoria made £61,644 a day in profits last year, new figures also revealed today.
The couple, who wed back in 1999, raised a total of £22.5 million from their combined business ventures.
Beckham Brand Holdings (BBH), which represents former Spice Girl Victoria's fashion interests as well as the marketing of David's image, reported taking home £12.69 million.
Meanwhile Footwork Productions, which oversees the exploitation of the former footballer's name and image, made £9.8 million after tax.
The figures, filed at Companies House, also show that the turnover from the two businesses totalled £65.8 million.
Victoria's clothing range and related activities made £34.5 million, while David lagged behind with £17.2 million through BBH and £14.1 million through Footwork.
Profits at Beckham Brand soared sevenfold from £1.54 million to £12.69 million - a rise of 724 per cent.
BBH is controlled by the famous pair along with Robert Dodds of XIX Entertainment - the organisation set up by their manager Simon Fuller.
It employed an average of 100 staff in 2014 and had a total wage bill of £5.5 million.
The accounts state that the company is planning to expand the size of Victoria's fashion business and the range of items on sale.
