'That was incredible' Simon Cowell gobsmacked by amazing light dancers on BGT
A GROUP of illuminated dancers stunned the four judges on the return of Britain's Got Talent tonight as their futuristic-looking routine left the crowd wanting more.
As the new season kicked off with plenty more talent, the lights quickly went off leaving the judges looking nervy, yet what awaited them was a mind-blowing spectacle.
Seven lit-up dancers known as Light Balance stormed the stage and channeled the lighting to create an incredibly timed number.
The 31-year-old Ukrainian man who said he came to the UK to share his gift, received a standing ovation and his idea left the crowd chanting "We Want More".
Simon Cowell said after the performance: "Oh my god, that was incredible.
"Really smart, really clever, absolutely loved it."
And David Walliams agreed: "Its very rare you see an act that you instantly want to see again."
Really smart, really clever, absolutely loved it.
Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon were left speechless before blurting out their yes's to vote the group through to the next round.
Boyband Collabro were also big crowd-pleasers in the first week.
The five-piece, who said they had only joined together a month ago, the judge's initial negative impressions were quickly swept away with another impressive performance.
With tight vocal harmonies and excellent attention to detail, the judges even shed a tear after the crowd were left astonished by their "flawless" performance.
Amanda said: "Oh my god, you've reduced me to tears.
"I could just burst with pride for you because that was bloody brilliant."
Simon added: "When the five of you came out, I thought this is going to be awful.
"But it was an absolutely brilliant audition."
The group received four definite yes's and will be back for the next set of performances.
Elsewhere pretty opera singer Lucy Kay made the cut after winning over the judges in a nervy but heartfeltperformance.
Plus daredevil ballroom pair Nico, 39, and his 79-year-old student Paddy, were a big hit with the crowds.
Amanda said: "I hope you win Britain's Got Talent."
