Ethereal beauty Evangeline Lilly plays the part of elfin warrior Tauriel in the second adaptation from J.R.R Tolkien's The Hobbit.
Best known for her part in Lost, Evangeline feared that die-hard Lord Of The Rings fan would hate her as Tauriel doesn't appear in the original book.
The stunning actress, who appeared on the red carpet at the premiere in Berlin this evening, looked enchanting in a gothic-style lacy black dress.
Styling her shiny brunette locks in a chic, messy undo, the actress stopped to pose with director Peter Jackson and his daughter Kate.
