Kimberly Stewart is more than just a socialite - and her home renovation skills are second to none, causing her rocker dad Rod Stewart's wife to take some tips from her.

She's the founder of luxury home organisation company The Realm, which thoughtfully "transforms everyday spaces" - and the brand has offices in both Los Angeles and Florida. Kimberly was inspired to start her brand during lockdown, when she descended on Rod's Palm Beach home to help renovate it - but little did she know that it wouldn't be just her finding inspiration.

Penny Lancaster joined the Loose Women panel this Thursday to spill the beans on the reason why her husband's eldest child had her creative juices flowing. "During lockdown she had an incredible idea," she began as she addressed Charlene White, Denise Welch and Linda Robson on the ITV show.

Admitting that the trio had all done a huge "spring clean" during the pandemic, as they "didn't have much else to do with our time", she explained how she'd ended up doing an entire kitchen renovation. "She goes into these very luxurious homes and organises everybody's pantries [and] wardrobes, when they don't have time and they are busy working." she told the panellists.

"I was inspired by her, we did a brand new kitchen at home, which probably hasn't been renovated for 20 years!" However, Penny also teased that it was "just day one" and that "in about six months it won't look anything like that".

Rod welcomed his daughter Kimberly back in 1979 with ex-wife Alana Stewart - an actress, model, best-selling author and mum.

Kimberly previously told People magazine: "During the quarantine, I couldn't stand looking at the chaos going on in my dad's pantry and kitchen so I got to work!"

Meanwhile, Penny told all about the renovation adventures as the Loose Women team discussed the news that a Tupperware firm recently filed for bankruptcy.

She reminisced: "I remember those days [of] the Avon and the Tupperware parties, bringing everyone together - it was all about organising and demonstrating how we can make our living space look more organised and pretty and efficient."

Her admission on the ITV show comes weeks after Rod rubbished rumours that their marriage was in trouble over a spat about whether or not to sell their LA home.

Rod took to Instagram to insist that there has been "absolutely no rift... and no disagreement over whether we should reside", adding: "In fact, it's the opposite.

"We moved permanently back to our beloved Britain a year ago but are fortunate to also have homes in different countries, which we love to visit."

He revealed that despite initial plans to sell their LA home due to the move, they had decided during Rod's Las Vegas residency that they wished to keep the property - and both agreed.

"Two of my eldest children still live in Celtic House (the LA residence). Penny and I could not be more in love with each other after 27 glorious years," he exclaimed.

"Please trust me on this... there is no disharmony in our marriage."
