Kevin Costner suffers another setback in Robin Hood lawsuit
Hollywood actor KEVIN COSTNER has hit another stumbling block in his battle to prove he is owed money from ROBIN HOOD: PRINCE OF THIEVES after a judge dismissed his complaint again.
The actor has been locked in a legal battle with the film studio behind the 1991 picture over allegations executives have failed to hand over the takings he is contractually entitled to for 2010 and 2011.
His initial claim for fraud was rejected by a judge in February (13), and an amended complaint, accusing film bosses of concealing the profits from the movie, was dismissed on Thursday (08Aug13), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Los Angeles Superior Court judge Richard Stone has given Costner another attempt at amending his claim, but warns this will be his last chance to push the legal action through.
Costner is also pursuing a breach-of-contract claim against the company.
