Someone's happy! Dame Helen Mirren looks ecstatic as she leaves the theatre wearing yellow
DAME Helen Mirren couldn't hide her delight as she left the theatre in an exceptionally good mood last night.
The 67-year-old star had a huge smile on her face as she stepped out of London's Gielgud Theatre following her performance in The Audience.
Wearing a lemon yellow cardigan with a dark knee-length skirt and a lace top, Mirren gave a huge wave as she headed towards her waiting car and beamed for the cameras.
The actress was carrying a tan-coloured hangbag as well as a black coat, and was also sporting a pair of odd tights with black shoes.
The thick, nude-coloured hoisery may have been part of Mirren's attire for her portrayal as the Queen in the play, and perhaps she simply forgot to take them off.
Mirren has been playing the role of Elizabeth II at the London venue since February 15.
