Clint Eastwood’s wife in rehab suffering depression
THE wife of Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood has checked herself into rehab for treatment for depression and anxiety.
According to US website TMZ, Dinah Eastwood has entered an exclusive facility in Arizona. The admittance is not linked to alcohol or drug abuse.
Dinah, 47, has been married to 82-year-old Clint since 1996, having met him three years earlier when she interviewed him.
The former newsreader has most recently been starring in her own reality television show, Mrs Eastwood & Company, with their daughter Morgan, 16, and his daughter Francesca, 19, from a past relationship with British actress Frances Fisher. Dinah is Clint’s second wife. He was previously married to model Maggie Johnson from 1953 to 1984, with whom he has two children Kyle, 44, and Alison, 40.
The Dirty Harry star certainly has a colourful romantic history. He has seven children from five different mothers, having also had daughter Kimber, 48, with dancer Roxanne Tunis, as well as son Scott, 27, and daughter Kathy, 25, with flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves, whom he was seeing in the Eighties.
Clint is a big supporter of a rehab facility in Monterey, California, which named its teen drug, alcohol and mental health issues programme after him.
