Catherine Zeta-Jones beams on the red carpet alongside husband Michael Douglas
ACTRESS Catherine Zeta-Jones couldn't look happier as she stood next to her husband Michael Douglas at the Lincoln Center's 40th Annual Chaplin Award Gala last night.
The 43-year-old star couldn't stop smiling as she posed for photos alongside the 68-year-old actor, who appears to be back to good health.
Over the past few years, Douglas has undergone treatment to fight throat cancer and in 2011 he confirmed that the tumour was gone.
Last night he proved that he is back to being healthy and happy as he cuddled up to his gorgeous wife - who showed off her enviable figure in a little black dress.
The mother-of-two teamed her low-cut garment with a pair of matching peep-toe heels and a small clutch bag.
Zeta-Jones completed her look with some dark red lipstick and a statment necklace as she smiled for photographers.
Douglas matched his wife in the style stakes and looked smart in a dark suit which he wore with a blue patterned tie.
What with the event being a gala, the colour black was certainly a popular choice for the night.
Singer Barbara Streisand arrived wearing a floor-length embellished gown which featured sheer sleeves and a rather low neckline.
The blonde star was joined by her husband James Brolin, who also wore a black suit with a matching tie as he held his wife's hand.
Another couple who walked the red carpet was actor Pierce Brosnan and his wife Keely Shaye.
The 007 star looked just like James Bond in his black tuxedo which was complete with a bow tie.
His wife coordinated her look with his by wearing a simple black dress with a stand-out necklace.
Other stars at the event included Liza Minnelli who wore a trouser suit with bright red lipstick, and actor Jeremy Irons.
