Paul McGann will not rule out his involvement in Doctor Who 50th anniversary special
PAUL McGANN who played the eighth Doctor Who has refused to rule out his involvement in the 50th anniversary special.
Current stars Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman are set to be joined by former favourites David Tennant and Billie Piper. And 55-year-old McGann believes that if ex-Time Lord Christopher Eccleston declines to appear it could open the door for him.
“I think Chris Eccleston is probably a big factor. He’s probably reluctant to get involved in anything that’s ongoing,” says Withnail And I actor McGann.
And while he hasn’t received a call from writer and producer Steven Moffat just yet he knows it could happen in a fl ash. “They’ll call us on the Friday and say, ‘You’re starting on Monday.’”
Over to you Steven.
