Taylor Swift sparkles in gold at the Academy of Country Music Awards
TAYLOR Swift made sure all eyes were on her as she arrived at the Academy of Country Music Awards last night.
The 23-year-old singer turned up to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas wearing a stunning chain-mail dress that highlighted her slender figure.
The gold and silver creation swept along the red carpet and featured jewelled detailing along the neckline.
As Swift headed inside the venue, she revealed the low-back on the dress and it’s sparkling straps.
The blonde singer teamed her glittering ensemble with a pair of simple earrings and wore her hair up in a high, sleek ponytail.
Swift was no dount feeling excited about the 48th ceremony as she found herself being up for five awards, however she failed to win any of the nominations.
But the US star still had her chance to shine as she took to the stage to perform 'Highway Don't Care' alongside Tim McGraw and Keith Urban.
Swift decided to ditch her chain-mail garment for the perfomance, and instead slipped into a black beaded halterneck dress.
Another female star who took to stage to show off their vocal talent was Kelly Clarkson.
The 30-year-old looked lovely in a turquoise lace dress and heels as she seranaded the star-studded audience.
Also at the event, was blonde singer Faith Hill, who looked paricularly slim in a black dress.
But it was Miranda Lambert who was the biggest winner on the night after scopping three awards.
The blonde not only won Best Female Vocalist, but also took home the gongs for Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
Other winners on the night included Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Eric Church.
