Flaming Lips re-working Stone Roses' debut album
THE FLAMING LIPS have headed into the studio to create a re-working of the STONE ROSES' debut album.
The She Don't Use Jelly hitmakers have previously given makeovers to records by acts including Pink Floyd and King Crimson, and the band's self-titled 1989 offering is their latest project.
Frontman Wayne Coyne tells The Sun, "The one we're working on now is the Stone Roses' first record. I don't really love them but I guess I do by loving their music. It's virtually the same song over and over again."
