I'm A Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here 2012: It's just plane sailing for David Haye
DAVID Haye went out on a limb for his I’m A Celebrity camp-mates last night.
The 32-year-old boxer was nominated by fellow campers for a Bushtucker trial called Scare Plane, in which he had to jump from one wing of an aircraft suspended over a ravine to another – and dodge bugs swarming the cockpit.
The former WBA heavyweight champion struggled with a task that required a lightness of foot, but managed to win all nine stars.
He even cracked a joke as cockroaches rained down.
“Can I see the stewardess please for peanuts and a rum and coke?” he quipped.
Despite his triumph, EastEnders actress Charlie Brookes, 31, was annoyed that nobody would let her have a go.
“If I had to pick a trial I’d pick this, I’m good with heights,” she had said when the task was announced.
But David said: “Who can get the most stars? Other than myself I’d nominate Hugo because I think Hugo’s got the chance of getting the most.”

Disgruntled Charlie responded: “That makes it seem that I’m incapable of getting the stars and that isn’t the case. It really annoyed me when it was like a boy thing. It’s old-fashioned sexism.”
