Schiffer launched fashion line for her kids
Supermodel CLAUDIA SCHIFFER set up her new fashion company to create a lasting legacy she can pass on to her children.
The German beauty has launched a luxury collection of cashmere clothing, inspired by her outfits as a working mother, and she is adamant the label will not be a passing fad because she wants to hand down a profitable company to her three kids with moviemaker husband Matthew Vaughn.
She tells Reuters, "I don't want this to be a celebrity line. It is meant to be a lasting business not a quick celebrity licensing line... I want the product to live without my name so that it does not really need me. As a company, I hope it builds up over time so that one day, hopefully, I can hand it over to my children."
