Brooklyn Beckham found himself in quite the flap during a domestic mishap as hot oil from a pancake frying session with his wife Nicola Peltz left him in pain. The aspiring chef, 25, had a sizzling surprise when he was caught off guard by the oil splash while attempting to show off his culinary skills, naked on top and thus poorly protected against kitchen hazards.

His doting wife, Nicola, had the camera rolling and couldn't help but giggle as she captured Brooklyn's misfortune, seeing the son of football legend David Beckham and fashion icon Victoria Beckham recoil from the scalding encounter.

Expecting to impress Nicola with a flawless pancake flip over their gas hob, Brooklyn instead demonstrated a glaring rookie mistake by cooking without a shirt, leaving his legs and feet perilously exposed to the spitting pan. His anticipation for a perfect performance turned into a toe-curling yell of pain, much to the amusement of his wife behind the lens.

Sadly, it's not the first time Brooklyn has faced physical agony; just last month, he experienced excruciating shoulder pain that landed him in hospital with a broken shoulder. Undeterred and ever-optimistic, he reassured his concerned followers that all was well thanks to the tender care of his loving spouse.

Grateful for her support, he expressed his contentment online, saying: "Broke my shoulder but all good cause I have [my wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham] to look after me", reports the Mirror.

In a heartwarming nod to his wife, he added: "Love you, babe."

Following his discharge from medical care, he posted a bathroom selfie showing off a red shoulder and bandage patch. Although he didn't caption the picture, he shared a video of his father David sliding down a pole with the caption: "@davidbeckham to the rescue," accompanied by a red heart emoji.

The nature of his injury was not disclosed at the time. However, he acknowledged his wife's support during his ordeal by including the Stevie Wonder song 'Isn't She Lovely' in his post.

Brooklyn's fiancee Nicola had yet to comment on his post, but fans were quick to express their concern. One wrote: "Feel better soon."

Another wished him a "Speedy recovery."

A third fan said: "Omg, I hope Brooklyn that you have a good recovery."

Their celebrity friend, former Made In Chelsea star Hugo Taylor, empathised with Brooklyn, saying: "I've done that. It's brutal. Get well soon."

The previous day, Victoria and David expressed how much they missed their eldest son as they spent quality time with his siblings Harper, Romeo, and Cruz. Victoria penned in a post: "Happy summer. Creating memories and sharing special moments. I love you all so much. Missing you [Brooklyn and Nicola]."
