Liam and Noel Gallagher confirm Oasis reunion for 2025

Coronation Street actress Mollie Gallagher has taken to social media to deny any link with the Oasis brothers - Liam and Noel Gallagher. The ITV actress, who is best known for portraying Nina Lucas, shared that she hadn't managed to bag any tickets to their upcoming reunion tour, despite what others may think.

Posting to her X (formerly Twitter) account, the soap star wrote: "Her who plays Nina from Corrie isn’t the daughter of @liamgallagher btw xxx"

Her co-star Jack James Ryan, who is known for playing the role of bad boy Jacob Hay on the cobbles, replied saying: "Ask your dad to sort me a ticket." Mollie shared that she was unsuccessful in landing tickets to their latest tour, as she wrote: "Go away I’m waiting for mine xxx".

Fellow colleague Tony Maudsley joined in on the fun too as he said: "We wish!!!" Meanwhile, fans thought the post was comical, with one writing: "The fact you have to point this out is HILARIOUS."

One intrigued social media user asked: "What happened for you to even feel the need to post this?? [crying laughing emojis]".

Another quipped: "What about Noel?" While someone else added: "That thought had never entered my mind lol x".

Oasis announced earlier this month that they would be reuniting and visiting cities around the country for Oasis Live '25. Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher have seemingly put their differences aside to make the epic comeback.

Announcing the news, the band said: "The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised."

After putting their feud behind them, the brothers have attracted controversy in another way - their ticket prices.

The Manchester Britpop duo have used ‘dynamic pricing’ with Ticketmaster, which means that the prices change depending on demand. This is known as ‘surge pricing’, and uses an algorithm to automatically increase the price when demand is high.

It meant that some hopefuls spent hours in a virtual queue only to see their ticket prices double. Like Mollie, many fans were left disappointed to see that the tickets had become unaffordable, while others were booted out of the virtual queue.
