Davina McCall’s surprise ratings hit My Mum, Your Dad is to return with a new cast of single parents looking for love while their adult children look on.

The 56-year-old former Big Brother presenter will host the second run of the grown-up dating show which attracted millions of ITV viewers on its debut in September last year.

Among its successes were Roger and Janey, who recently celebrated their first anniversary. This time around, one of
the parents nominated by their offspring to take part is Vicky, who said: “I’ve been having no luck in trying to find someone myself. If there’s a room of people, I always tend to go for the one person I shouldn’t!”

A luxury mansion set in 45 acres containing a tennis court, both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a steam room, a sauna, a gym, a spa and a hot tub, will once again be used for the show which begins in two weeks.

An ITV spokeswoman said: “The grown-up kids once again get a front-row seat to all the action, as their mums and dads hope to find a romantic connection at the retreat.

“And they’ll ultimately decide if they give their blessing.”
