Lucy Alexander has enjoyed seven days cruising past the Greek Islands as she soaked up the sunshine on board Virgin's Resilient Lady.

The A Place In The Sun admitted to be a regular traveller of the seas, but she particularly enjoyed her latest excursion as it was "child-free".

Speaking on her Instagram Story, Lucy shared: “It’s my last night. I am devastated. I have had the best week on the Virgin Resilient Lady Voyager.

"I have loved it. Thank you so much for giving me everything; it’s been amazing—the sunsets, the sea, the top deck. This cruise is for everybody. This is my fourth cruise. The thing I have loved the most about this one is the itinerary.

"I have loved all the Greek islands. It’s been phenomenal. Also there are no kids that is the best thing," she finished.

Lucy, who is married to former footballer Stewart Castledine, is mum to two children, Kitty and Leo.

Famed for her role as the original host of the BBC's Homes Under The Hammer, Lucy confirmed back in March that she has signed on as a main presenter for the Channel 4 property programme A Place Under The Sun.

Property expert Lucy first appearing on the overseas house-hunting show in a guest capacity at the start of last year but she has now revealed she is sticking with the show.

The stars' bosses snapped her up for a long-term role due to her wealth of experience in the property sector and natural on-camera charisma.

Lucy has been jetting off to various locations across the globe at least once a month to film the programme.

The star told The Sun: "I am now a part of the A Place in the Sun family!

"I've got quite a few episodes coming up with them this year, I am definitely a part of the family which has been lovely!"

Lucy further added that she has even agreed to appear in the programme's spin-off show, What Happened Next.

The programme debuted last year, and many of the show's hosts visited families and couples who had bought property over the years to check in with them and see if they had managed to accrue their dream lives abroad.

Speaking of the spin-off, Lucy revealed: "They've asked me to do their brand new show, which is a re-visit."
