Death In Paradise star's cryptic post after sharing photo from hospital bed
Death In Paradise star Josephine Jobert uploaded a cryptic message on social media.
Josephine Jobert took to her Instagram stories and shared a photo from a hospital bed. The Death In Paradise actress, 39, posted a series of pictures hours before, including a snap where she reminisced about her time on the BBC show, to a more recent photo of the on-screen star filming behind the scenes.
She joined the BBC hit back in 2015, playing the now-DS Florence Cassell.
Taking to her Stories on Wednesday night (July 10), Josephine did not show her face but gave a glimpse of her hand wearing a pulse oximeter, while in a medical gown and lying down in a hospital bed.
Josephine did not disclose any further information after sharing the cryptic photo.
It comes as the former BBC star is set to star in an upcoming AI surveillance drama. In her new project, titled Concordia, Josephine will take on the role of Mathilde.
The drama takes place in a fictional city where AI "ensures a free and fair society”.
An official logline for the series reads: “For its 20th anniversary, the AI driven town of Concordia is due to expand to Germany.
“This plan is threatened when Oliver Miller, an analyst in Concordia is killed.”
Josephine is best known for her role as Florence Cassell on the beloved BBC programme Death In Paradise where she worked alongside Kris Marshall and Ardal O’Hanlon before departing in 2019.
The BBC star rejoined the programme series ten in 2021 opposite Ralf Little and exited again during series 11.
She returned for a show special in series 13, which aired earlier this year following Ralf's exit as DI Neville Parker.
Her most recent appearance saw Florence and Ralf’s character Neville Parker leave Saint Marie together and sail off into the sunset.
