Ronan Keating has made the decision to leave Magic FM after working side by side with Harriet Scott on their breakfast show for seven years. Keating shared this emotional news during a Thursday morning broadcast exclaiming, "I've had a hell of a time, it is time for me to hang up my headphones," simultaneously also disclosing his final day is still a few weeks away in late July.

He followed his announcement with these touching words: "I've had the best time. I've learnt so much. I will miss you all."

In an endearing display of emotion, when co-presenter Harriet revealed a huge outpouring of support from listeners, Ronan admitted he was too moved to sift through them, saying: "I don't know if I can read any of them".

Subsequently, fans showered him with love and farewells, one listener lamented: "Magic FM radio breakfast won't be the same! I'm a huge Boyzone and Ronan Keating fan! Good luck with what's next and enjoy family mornings you will be missed in my morning chaos! ! ! ".

As loyal fans would know, Keating has been on the air on weekdays between 6 am and 10 am since September 2017, today before the show, Ronan hinted at some significant news over his Instagram Stories with an exciting message: "TUNE INTO @MAGICFM NOW. BIG ANNOUNCEMENT.", reports OK!.

Although he did not disclose detailed reasons for his departure, its known that Ronan has been focusing on his music lately, touring Germany, and managing life with his two young children back home, who he might want to spend more quality time with.

Ronan Keating has left fans worried after sharing a cryptic post about his wife Storm, 42, alongside a tattoo tribute to her. The Boyzone star penned: "For you my warrior today and every day. My Stormy. A challenge ahead but your strength blows my mind. With you every step. Love you baby."

Despite the heartfelt message, Ronan did not elaborate on the "challenge ahead", causing concern among his followers.

BBC Radio 2 presenter Zoe Ball was among those who commented, writing: "Sending you all love and strength."

Natalie Bassingthwaighte, who worked with Ronan on X Factor Australia, also sent her well wishes: "Sending you both so much love. Hope she is ok."

One fan expressed their support for the couple, saying: "Sending love with whatever is going on."

Another admired the samurai warrior tattoo, commenting: "Beautiful tattoo [Ronan] - hope [Storm] is ok."

Ronan and Storm have been married since 2015 and share two children; Cooper, six, and Coco Knox, four. He also has three children from his previous marriage to Yvonne Connolly; Jack, 25, Missy, 23, and Ali, 18.
