Bargain Hunt: Red Team loses money on bronze dog
The red team consisted of Hashem, a Scientist, and Behnoosh, a Maths Teacher, who were led by antiques expert Thomas Forrester. He is a firm favourite among watchers thanks to his valuable knowledge of the business.
They were tasked to find “an item connected to water”. After a difficult quest, they finally managed to eventually grab some items to put up for sale.
It was a painful hour-long search, but they opted for hand-painted puppies worth £28, a siphon for £88 and a silver jewellery box costing £90. This brought their total spend to £206, leaving £94 left over from their budget.
After heading to the auction, the guests just about scraped a profit. The team walked away with only £4, which left them feeling deflated.
One user wrote: "Why do people suddenly lose all dignity when they put a red fleece jacket on #bargainhunt”.
Expert Charlie Ross was forcing them to ‘shush’ as fans switched channels minutes into the programme.
