BBC's Matt Baker issues plea as he's taken to hospital for agonising health issue
Matt Baker has been suffering from an agonising health condition which has affected his mobility and resulted in him seeing a surgeon.

BBC presenter Matt Baker took to social media to ask for advice from fans. The former One Show host, 46, has been battling with a herniated disc and was looking for tips on how to deal with the condition.
The presenter is an ex-gymnast and admitted it’s hard not to be able “to bend forward”.
Writing to his 362,000 Instagram followers he wrote: “Hi All, Any advice for a herniated disc …? For a long time now I’ve been dealing with a herniated disc- as an ex gymnast it’s hard not to be able to bend forward.
“So I decided to have a nerve block injection, - what a brilliant Surgeon and lovely NHS team it was that did my treatment Thank you all! (also a big thanks to the nurse who used to watch me on Bluepeter - the buttered toast was amazing!)” (sic)
Alongside the clip, he posted a string of videos and images of him attempting exercises in hospital. The post was accompanied by the popular song Gonna Fly Now by the Rocky Orchestra.
Meanwhile, the post attracted a lot of attention as fans jumped to the comments section to share their support.
One user wrote: “Hi matt I have had 2 prolapsed disc which needed operation on after injection didn't work. I am now fully recovered I do exercises physio gave me but I also do hula hooping with the new linked hoop. This helps strength my back. Hope you feel better soon." (sic)
While another added: “You can do all the exercises in the world but the biggest thing you need to learn is trust in your body.. you've got this!”

Long-term pal and BBC star Julia Bradbury also chimed in and penned: “Physio physio physio. Good luck Baker Boy.live from the BC,'s!” (sic)
Matt's trip to hospital comes after he showered his wife Nicola with support as she announced that she had written a children’s book.
Before the books went to print he headed with her to the manufacturer.
In an Instagram post to celebrate that special occasion, he shared a clip of them at the printers.
Matt wrote: "I took a trip to the printers with my wife @mrsnicolabaker to see her first book in The Whistledown Farm Adventures come off the line”.
