Bobby Brazier speaks out on 'age gap relationship' after Dianne Buswell confession
EXCLUSIVE: Bobby Brazier has addressed dating an older woman after admitting he was "falling in love" with Dianne Buswell, who is 14 years his senior.
Bobby Brazier addressed the prospect of an age-gap relationship as he spoke to Express.co.uk at last night's TV Choice Awards. The Strictly Come Dancing and EastEnders star, who looked like a young Mick Jagger as he strutted his stuff on the red carpet, was asked if he'd ever date Dianne Buswell if the pair were both single.
Although the 20-year-old called her "the love of my life" on Instagram, he revealed that taking things to the next level is "not even a thing that I'm considering". "She's like my big sister - she's a lot older than I am - but would I date a 34-year-old?"
He then turned to the small group surrounding him and asked: "Is anyone here 34? You don't look 34!" He grinned bashfully, before suggesting: "Maybe I would, if someone asked me out!"
Dianne is currently dating YouTuber Joe Sugg and has purchased a home with him in Brighton, whereas Bobby revealed during last night's chat that he's still free and single and is not dating anyone at the moment. In fact, he'd forgotten that Valentine's Day is on the horizon, asking: "What day is it?"
Work seems to be his primary focus, as he revealed: "I don't even want a holiday. I want to get back to EastEnders. I cant wait, I've missed it so much! I'm looking forward to Monday [when I start filming]." In his spare time, he's also hoping to continue flexing his dancing muscles despite the Strictly tour now being over. "There's a salsa place near where I live that I might get involved in," he explained.

He also lifted the lid on the antics backstage on the Strictly tour, after pro Nikita Kuzmin shared saucy snaps of a scantily clad Bobby in the shower alongside co-stars Graziano di Prima and Vito Coppola.
"Backstage was always fun. It was one big party and we got to become better friends with people than we had been on the series [because] there was more time together, there wasn't as much pressure and we weren't competing," he reminisced.
He added that he'd "bonded" with the show's winner, Ellie Leach, and become good friends, but, gesticulating for dramatic effect, he revealed that "everyone was like a character in their own way".
"No-one was in the background, everyone was a main character. I was surrounded by craziness and uniqueness the whole time!" he enthused.

Now he's firmly focusing on his EastEnders return, chuckling: "I'm hoping I'm not too rusty for Monday!"
He added: "There's so many wicked people [on set] that I get to watch and observe and it just sinks in and I start to make some progress!
"I just want to be good at what I do at the end of the day."
He also teased that a romcom is a possible future project for him one day, although he doesn't yet know whether he'd be the good guy or the lothario.
