This Morning's Josie Gibson's cryptic post on 'distance over disrespect' amid show break
This Morning star Josie Gibson took to social media to share a cryptic update with fans after insisting she is not quitting the ITV daytime show, despite recently taking a break from hosting duties.
Addressing her 702,000 followers, she penned: "The older you get, the more you choose calm over conflict and distance over disrespect."
She continued: "Drama becomes intolerant to you and your peace becomes your ultimate priority. You start surrounding yourself with people who are good for your mental health, heart and soul."
The star did not clarify what situation she was referring to when she issued the statement. She also decided to later take the story down.
Josie told fans earlier this month that she was taking some time off from hosting the show. However, she did go on to insist that she was not quitting the chat show.
“I keep getting asked why I've left, so I thought it's easier to clear up the rumour mill on here.
“I am eternally grateful for all your love and support and I can not thank you enough."
She concluded the post with a bold hashtag, signing it off: “JG #squashingrumours."
