Dancing On Ice 2024 star hits back after claims show is 'scraping the barrel’ with line-up
Dancing On Ice 2024 is slowly revealing its line-up, with the most recent addition being comedian Lou Sanders.
Comedian and actress Lou Sanders took to Instagram today to fire back at fans complaining about this year’s line-up for Dancing On Ice.
Lou, who will be taking to the ice in 2024 for the famous ITV show, decided to poke fun at those claiming it was “scraping the barrel” in view of her 89,200 followers.
“Having a bit of fun on the Dancing On Ice Insta account,” she penned mischievously on her Instagram story.
She then went on to include a number of screenshots showing her replies to various people who had taken to the social media platform to comment on this year’s line-up so far.
In response to Lou being announced, Lynda wrote “Who???”, which prompted Lou to respond: “I go by the name of Dr Gorgeous.”
“Who’s she?” Holland echoed, to which Lou replied: “Sagittarius with Virgo moon x.”
“Scraping the barrel this year,” Jonti complained, with Lou firing back: “Someone get me outta this barrel!” (sic)
When another user asked who Lou was, she wittily retorted: “I’ll pop my CV over x.”

Meanwhile, Martin fumed: “Worse cast yet!!! There is no real famous people in this year going to be boring.” (sic)
“I’ll try and make it entertaining by knocking myself unconscious or sumin,” Lou quipped back. (sic)
Lou is a stand-up comedian from Broadstairs, Kent, who has appeared on a number of popular television shows including QI, Would I Lie to You?, Travel Man, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Russell Howard's Good News.
She was also declared the winner of the eighth series of Taskmaster in 2019, and has acted in sitcoms including Aisling Bea's This Way Up and Karl Pilkington's Sick of It.
Other celebrities to join the Dancing On Ice line-up include Coronation Street actress Claire Sweeney, S Club 7 singer Hannah Spearritt and Olympic legend Greg Rutherford.
A number of reality television stars are also taking part, including Gogglebox’s Stephen Lustig-Webb, Made in Chelsea’s Miles Nazaire and Love Island winner Amber Davies.
