Ed’s on the block with job at Lego
Ed Sheeran fans were in pieces as they came face to face with the star behind a till - as he worked at a Lego store.
The singer loves the toy so much he wrote the 2011 song Lego House – which he performed for customers in the store. Wearing a staff apron and Lego T-shirt, Ed posed with families buying sets of the Danish-made interlocking bricks.
Asked to name his favourite product, he pointed to a castle, saying: “Me and my brother had a tiny wizard set.”
The Shape Of You hitmaker’s official title for the day at the Mall of America in Minnesota was “brick specialist”.
The dad-of-two, 32, helped to sell toys while he got ready for a sell-out stadium gig in the city.
The surprise appearance came after last year he stunned shoppers in Ipswich, close to his sprawling Suffolk home.
The former busker turned up with a guitar, microphone and small amp for an impromptu gig.
