BBC Breakfast star Nina Warhurst has shared some adorable snapshots from her first few weeks with her baby daughter, whose name she has now revealed.
BBC Breakfast star Nina Warhurst has finally shared the name of her baby girl, as she posted some sweet snaps on social media today.
The BBC presenter has also explained that she is facing a "longer recovery" as she found this round of childbirth "tougher" than the times before.
Taking to Instagram, Nina posted a cute picture of herself and her baby girl yawning simultaneously.
Other pictures showed her holding the back of her daughter’s head and staring adoringly into her eyes, while one more saw them cuddled up in bed together.
In the caption, Nina wrote to her 24,400 followers: “4 snaplets of me and my Nance from each of the 4 weeks we’ve watched her slowly waking up to this world.”
After revealing that her baby girl’s name is (presumably) Nancy, she continued: “We’ve lost all sense of time as we’ve been feeding and snoozing and gazing and toe-stroking and head-smelling and marvelling at the absolute wonder of it all.”
Nina then opened up about her “hard pregnancy” and “tough delivery” in a candid admission.
“It’s been *haaaard* tho! A harder pregnancy,” she penned. “A tougher delivery and a longer recovery… maybe it’s being older… but also I’d somehow forgotten.

“I’d forgotten the anxiety of labour moving from the plan,” she explained.
“I’d forgotten the swollen scars, bleeding breasts, mastitis fever, hormonal crashes, clots, constipation, codeine withdrawal, exhaustion…. And this time the added funk of a nose bleed (y tho?!)”
“But part of getting older is getting better aquatinted with your limits and letting go,” she added wisely.
“I’m better at stopping and saying no to visitors and yes to a messy house and yes to asking for help.
“(A turning point was full snot crying down the phone to the GP - resulting in a glorious prescription of kind words, antibiotics, painkillers and a follow up call about how I was coping),” she continued with a heart emoji.
“We are on the right track - for now - and enjoying life in the slow lane… usually with Australian MAFs & Italian red drinks… what a combo.
“Women and their bodies (parents or not) are complex and resilient that it fills me with immense pride. I can’t wait to tell you all about it my sweet girl,” she finished proudly.
On July 3 of this year, Nina shared the happy news she had given birth to her daughter after keeping fans updated on her pregnancy journey.
She and her husband of nine years Ted are already parents to two boys: Digby, who was born in 2016, and Michael, who in 2018.
