Gardeners' World presenter Monty Don took to Instagram this week to share a picture of his self-sown poppies, which formed into an orderly line in his vegetable garden.
Many of his 1.2 million followers were quick to comment on how neat the flowers looked, however one took the opportunity to have a moan at the host.
The social media user accused the presenter of being disrespectful by not replying to his fans in the comments section on his posts.
They wrote: "Monty Don, you probably will not see this because you never reply to any of your followers, which is a shame and to be honest, quite disrespectful of your followers.
"Even if you do not have much time some sort of reaction sometimes. Why do you post at all?"
Monty has not yet responded to the Instagram user, however many of his fans have defended him.
One wrote: "Hi, he probably to busy to reply to people there is nothing disrespectful about Monty, don’t be so rude."
Another commented: "Monty is a very busy gentleman, can't expect him to sit and reply to everyone he hasn't the time, he very very occasionally replies, he was extremely kind to reply to me when I voiced my doubts for growing snakes head fritillaries, and I was very grateful for his reply, but like I say he's busy and you can't expect him to reply."
A third shared: "Leave Monty alone!"

He does however encourage fans to contact him if they wish via his website.
