Pasha Kovalev admits he chased Strictly partner Caroline Flack after she took their trophy
PASHA KOVALEV has recalled chasing the late Caroline Flack to get his Glitterball trophy back, after the pair won Strictly Come Dancing back in 2014, sharing the details in a new interview.
Caroline Flack: Pasha and Alison Hammond recall Strictly days
Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Pasha Kovalev has fondly recalled a memory from his time on the show with Caroline Flack, who died last year. The 41-year-old dancer said following the after-show party, he had to chase her when she mistakenly walked off with his Glitterball trophy.
Pasha recounted the story during an appearance on This Morning, earlier today.
When asked about his memories of the late Love Island host, he said they had a great time together on Strictly.
The father-of-one, who is married to Countdown star Rachel Riley, said she was “bubbly, fantastic to be around".
Pasha said their chemistry and dancing skills came together to take them all the way to the top of the competition.

The couple beat finalists Frankie Bridge and Kevin Clifton as well as Simon Webbe and his partner Kristina Rihanoff in the 12th series.
Recalling the night they lifted the trophy, he told the show’s hosts Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond, who danced in the same series, that she accidentally stole his award.
“I remember she stole my Glitterball, because afterwards, after the party after the final, I looked at my bag and it was gone.
“And I thought someone stole it. I just got it and someone stole it.
“Actually, she took both. Thinking it was hers.
“I had to go and chase it and grab it off of her,” he explained.
“That doesn’t surprise me about her at all,” Dermot said of his late friend.
“I’ve known her for many years, we started out together and had the same agent for a very long time and I never saw her happier, than when she was doing that show.

Pasha was joined on the ITV show by Aljaz Skorjanec, who was Alison’s dance partner that same year.
The pair were on the programme to promote their new theatre show, Here Come The Boys.
Their production is one of the first shows to return to the West End.
Former Strictly star Karim Zeroual will host the production and is set to show off a few of his dance moves.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Pasha is set to become a father for the second time.
His wife Rachel shared the news on social media in the style of a Countdown conundrum.
Their baby, who joins one-year-old daughter Maven, is due in the Autumn.
