‘Colourful’ UK spot offers stunning views and cheap festivities during the spring season

With such abundant coasts, the town has a vast fishing industry. Because of that, it puts on a crab and lobster festival every year that runs in May, where visitors can buy local shellfish and see cooking demonstrations.

There’s also plenty of spring festivities to participate in. Stately homes like Blickling Hall or Felbrigg Hall put on Easter egg hunts that cost about £2.50 per person. The Norfolk and Norwich Festival lasts 17 days in May as well, and it’s described as an art festival with events from theatre art, classical and contemporary music, and even a circus.
Sheringham Park showcases a mass of rhododendrons and azaleas in the spring, which visitors can see on the circular walking path around the estate. The Gazebo is a great place for a picnic as well.
