Online travel comparison site Skyscanner have found that flights are at least 10 per cent cheaper than last year, which is great news for anyone looking to book their next holiday.
Travellers looking for a bargain should make the most of this year being one of the cheapest ones yet.
The best cheap flights are found when travelling long haul, with huge savings on offer.
For example, a family of four travelling to Vancouver can see the biggest drop of 18 per cent, meaning a saving of up to £500 when the average price is £576.28.
Other long haul flights have seen huge decreases, such as 13 per cent to Boston, reducing to £477.34, and Hong Kong by 14 per cent to £519.83.
However, to score these price drops, travellers are best to book them up to 30 weeks in advance to get a bargain.
