ur Swan Hellenic customers always enjoy any opportunity to discover more about a destination
“Swan Hellenic is all about exploring more of each destination that Minerva calls at,” says Lynn Cornish, Swan Hellenic’s Director of Planning and Product.
“In addition to the fantastic city break offer, our winter 2016 – 2017 cruises have longer stays in port, such as two days in Kusadasi, Dubrovnik, Livorno, Barcelona and a full day in the Spanish city of Motril.

“Our Swan Hellenic customers always enjoy any opportunity to discover more about a destination and the excellent talks that we have on board by our guest speakers, perfectly complement our included excursions, longer port stays and city breaks,” adds Lynn.
Swan Hellenic’s winter season begins with Aegean Classics on November 2, which includes five overnight stays in port as Minerva cruises from Cyprus to Greece.
During the cruise, Minerva will make four calls along Turkey’s Lycian coast.

These include Kusadasi, with an overnight stop to allow plenty of time to explore the ruins of Ephesus, Miletus and Didyma.
Another highlights of the winter season is a call at Tarragona on the north-eastern coast of Spain during the Fiestas de Navidad cruise.
This UNESCO-listed port is often described as “mini Rome” and has Roman ruins including an ancient amphitheatre.
Aix-en-Provence is one of the prize destinations
There’s a tight squeeze through the narrow Corinth Canal during Adriatic Coasts To Venice, a 13-day cruise in November that also includes a cruise along the Kotor Fjord and an overnight stay in UNESCO-listed Dubrovnik on the way to Venice.
