GOOGLE Maps often catches bizarre and unusual things with its street view cameras, and now something spectacular in the UK has been found on the site.

Google Maps gives a view on to the world, and allows people to see things they may not otherwise be able to.
Mapping roads around the world, the footage is captured by a Google car which drives around with a camera on its roof.
And now a picture taken in the UK shows an incredible natural phenomenon in all its glory.
Taken in Dartmoor National Park in Devon, south-west England, the picture is dated November 2008.

But the passage of time does not make the image any less beautiful.
It shows a striking rainbow - and because of the clear view, the whole rainbow can be seen.
Normally, at least one end of a rainbow is not visible, and most people only get to see the arch.
However, Google managed to snap an entire rainbow while driving through Dartmoor.

And it seems they enjoyed the spectacular sight all alone, as no other cars can be seen on the roads, and no people are seen walking on the landscape.
Natural wonders are not the only thing seen on Google Maps - and sometimes mysterious and secretive places are shown too.
One part of Poland appears to not be all as it seems when viewed on the website.
Spotted in Warsaw is the Military Property Agency offices according to bt.com.

Appearing on Google Maps view, nothing appears to be out of the ordinary.
When changing to satellite mode, the square section of the map appears to be differently coloured to the rest of the map.
It appears to be in a blue hue, which suggests that it isn’t real and has instead been superimposed.
Due to the sensitive nature of the location, it could have been altered due to privacy fears.
