The Under restaurant in Norway is the first to open in Europe, due in 2019
Under, Norway
Designed by Swedish architecture firm SnØhetta, the first underwater restaurant in Europe is still in creation.
Due to open in 2019, the restaurant will be located on the rocky coastline by the village of Båly, being partially submerged undersea.
It will be able to welcome 80-100 guests, and the periscope-like design is hoped to make people enjoy the experience but “feel secure and not claustrophobic”.
