1. Bosnian Sphere
A massive sphere was discovered in the town of Zavidovici in Bosnia.
It’s believed to be the largest man-made sphere in the world.
The giant object is proof that humans had advanced technology thousands of years ago.

2. Grauballe Man
In 1952 a body was discovered in a bog in Denmark which was so unusually well-preserved that its hair was still intact.
The man dated back to the late third century and resembled an alien from another planet.
3. Volgograd Discs
In the Volgograd region of Russia, a dozen disc-shaped stones containing a military grade metal called tungsten were discovered by a UFO group during excavations.
The group believes they came from aliens but other scientific bodies think they developed from erosion.
4. Nazca Lines
These mysterious white lines in Peru are believed to have been drawn as far back as 500BC.
Thousands of years later, the Nazca lines can still be made out, but no one knows what they mean.

5. Venetian Vampires
In 2006 the skeletal remains of a woman from the 16th century with a brick stuffed in her jaw were discovered in Venice.
Historians first thought the remains belonged to an accused vampire, but now believe the woman could have been deemed a witch.
6. Mount Owen Claw
A severed limb from an extinct bird known as the moa.
Archaeologists discovered the limb in an ancient cave in New Zealand.
Its flesh and muscles were still intact despite the species disappearing thousands of years ago.
7. Baby Disposal
The remains of nearly 100 babies were discovered in an ancient bathhouse in Ashkelon, Israel.
Babies were not considered valuable back in ancient Roman times and it’s widely considered the infants could have belonged to prostitutes.

8. Sacsaywaman
An ancient wall located in Cusco, Peru, the Sacsaywaman dates back to 1100, with construction continuing for over 100 years.
It consists of several types of rock and was built in a mysterious zigzag design.
A new section of the wall was discovered in 2008.
9. Diquis Spheres
The stone spheres of Costa Rica are a collection of over 300 solid globes, ranging in size.
Some weigh up to 15 tonnes, with both their origin and purpose remaining a mystery.
10. Gobekli Tepe
Located in Turkey, the Gobekli Tepe is considered the oldest archaeological site in the world.
The site was first surveyed in 1963 but wasn’t excavated again until 1994 when large T-shaped pillars were discovered.
It’s believed the area was banned over 10,000 years ago and pre-dates Stonehenge by some 6,000 years.
