Columbia clothing to PAY two thrill-seekers to TRAVEL around the world
EXTREME adventure has bred a new generation a thrill-seeking travellers.

Not so long ago, taking joyride down the autobahn and paragliding above the sea were considered bold holiday activities.
These days, adrenalin junkies can get their fix in some of the most beautiful places around the world.
Whether it's free-falling from one of the world's highest peaks or driving a motorised sled over the edge of a glacier, it seems extreme sports knows no bounds.
And now, there is even a professional position to prove it.
Applications are now being accepted to fill what will undoubtedly be highly coveted role, 'Director of Toughness'.

The position has been created by Colombia, a company that creates outdoor clothing for all weather conditions.

Colombia is looking for two employees with an appetite for adventure, who will travel the world for nine months to trial their clothes in the extreme weather conditions they are built to last against.
The lucky pair will be flown across the globe testing sports gear on lakes, mountains and other exotic and adventurous locations.
They'll also be getting paid the entire time, a total of £29,500.

The job description appeals to: "Testers, world travelers, glacier climbers, brand ambassadors, social media gurus, nature photographers and spelunkers all in one."
But getting the gig won't be easy.
Successful applicants will have to endure interview rounds for 'The Toughest', which will take place in Oregon, on America's East Coast, Canada and even the UK.
Last year's positions were filled by Lauren Steele and Zach Doleac, who spent six months as Directors of Toughness for Colombia.

The pair trekked the Arctic and climbed Ecuador's famous Cayambe volcano.
Richelle Luther, senior vice president of Colombia Sportswear Company and chief HR, said: "We are excited to identify and hire two new outdoor enthusiasts.
"(They will) put a spotlight on the effort our employees go through to ensure our products keep people comfortable, regardless of the conditions."
