Europe's first zip line over the sea has opened in Croatia
Croatia’s biggest tourist drawcard is no longer being in the water, but high above it.
The first over the sea zip line in Europe has just opened in adventure park Crikvenica, near Rijeka on the Adriatic coast.
At 114 feet high and measuring 1640 feet long, Kacjak is a ride for adrenalin junkies.
Riders can choose one of two routes to either finish on land or water after their scenic trip over the Adriatic sea.

The whole picturesque journey lasts just 30 seconds and only one thrill-seeker is allowed down at a time.
You can finish off your ride with a dip at the stunning beach of Kvarner bay.
The attraction is a welcome addition to Croatia’s other popular zip line over a canyon.
This terrifying ride provides breathtaking views of the famous Cetina River at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour.

All of this is achieved on a steel wire rope, with riders secured by a belt only.
