Don’t look down: Sleep in a tent DANGLING from trees in a Bavarian forest
VERTIGO sufferers probably won't be first in line to stay at this 'hotel'.
Spend the night dangling from a tree in Bavaria
Getting back to nature is all the rage at the moment but a park in Germany take glamping to dizzying new heights.
If you’re after an extreme camping experience then look not further than the mountain adventure park Waldseilgarten in Pfronten, Germany.
The adventure camp in the woods suspends their canvas tents from the trees so you sleep dangling in the air.
You’ll even need to complete a safety course before you can turn in for the night.
This hotel bed isn't suitable for those with vertigo
It’ll take you around 45 minutes to climb up to your bed for the night.
Despite the lengths you’ll need to go to to get to your ‘room’, no previous climbing experience is necessary.
Training staff will make sure you’ve got all of the rope skills to swing about the trees. The whole adventure park is set up for roping and climbing so once you’ve mastered your skills
It’s recommended that you go for a wee before you winch yourself up onto your sleeping platform. It’s a long way down if you get caught short in the middle of the night.
Visit an adventure park in Germany to sleep in the trees
You only get the essentials when you’re up there: a sleeping bag and a simple dinner. You might want to take a torch and a book.
You might be too scared to drop off to sleep, but at least you’ll have a beautiful view of the Bavarian countryside.
Even though you’re not getting a five star hotel experience, prices are still pretty steep: your tent is around £200 per person per night.
If these tree tents aren’t high enough for you, then Waldseilgarten also offer tents hanging off the nearby cliffs.

Stay in a tent dangling from a cliff
They’re not quite as high as the dangling cliff hotel pods in Peru, but you can still choose to go as high as 1000 feet.
There are some sleeping platforms a little lower down the cliff as well, but this is definitely not a holiday option for those suffering from vertigo.
When you finally make your way down in the morning, your make-shift shower is actually the nearby waterfall.
