Highliner Jerry Miszewski, 29, from California, USA, daringly took on the challenge that was 250 metres over Brazil's Espraiado canyon.
There is no feeling like being on a 1-inch wide strap floating in the sky
The daredevil had a tiny one-inch wide line to balance on as he carefully balanced, while suspended in mid-air.
The photographs and video, taken by Klaus Schlickmann and Rodrigo Ferrari, captured the danger faced by the highliner, while he was surrounded by picturesque green mountains.
Jerry Miszewski, the highligner, said: "While I was walking the line it felt absolutely incredible! There is no feeling like being on a 1-inch wide strap floating in the sky.

"When I am walking the line I am very focused on the moment and not really paying attention to what I am looking at.
"However, when I fall or am starting the line, I always look around at the scenery, usually when I am more aware of my surroundings, it makes the walk more pleasant."
