Travellers who have been to the idyllic village have called it "worth a visit" on the TripAdvisor travel forum. 

One person commented: “Beautiful little village, came on a rainy day but we were not disappointed. We walked the small beach. Full of pebbles, large and small all beautiful and individual in appearance. 

“We walked to the Harbour and back. Coastal Cuppie has a little hut by the harbour but due to the Autumn weather, this is now located in Pennan Hall, fully recommend it. The hall has toilets with a donation box. A lovely hour spent here.”

A second user said: “This beach is a pebble beach. Go when low tide because when I was there, there wasn't a lot of beach left. The views are impressive and it has a nice harbour next to the beach.”

A third user chimed in: “A fabulous day out from Aberdeen, so peaceful, friendly people and added bonus of seeing the dolphins too. Great for kayaking and a real beauty spot.”
