If you're gearing up for a sun-soaked getaway but dread the thought of leaving your trusty suncream behind due to cabin bag restrictions, fear not!

The conundrum of squeezing a mere 100ml of sun protection alongside other liquid essentials like your favourite fragrance or must-have makeup is all too familiar. And let's face it, no one wants to gamble on an unfamiliar brand that's been gathering dust on a foreign shelf, potentially losing its protective prowess over time.

But there's good news!

A savvy traveller has divulged a nifty trick to ensure you can pack ample suncream and toiletries for your flight without any fuss.

The user, known as @travelmindedofficial on social media, revealed the secret lies in placing a click and collect order at Boots located within the airport from which you're departing. This way, you can scoop up your holiday essentials right before takeoff.

She explained: "It was hassle-free, and then we had all of our essentials," while showcasing a box brimming with travel must-haves such as deodorant, suncream, facial suncream spray, after sun, and even shower gel perfect for those with sensitive skin.

Amid the flurry of comments, concerns were raised about potential airport price hikes. However, she assured fellow travellers that the prices match those found on the high street.

One curious commenter inquired: "Such a good idea! What did you do on the way back? (If you had any left, as the bottles are over 100ml did you just have to throw them away?)"

She replied: "We left them in the AirBnb where we stayed so others could enjoy."
