A passenger aboard a transatlantic flight with a row to himself has passed the time in a unique way.

Nick Gerlock's booking error saw him with a whole row to himself on the transatlantic flight, and he revealed he had "never felt more blessed" knowing he had the freedom of three seats.

Bagging the seat nearest to the window and not having to worry about a scuffle for use of the armrest was a dream experience for the passenger, and how better to spend the time on-board a long haul flight than with a movie marathon?

That is exactly what Nick, from Berkeley, California, did. His odd choice of movies has since gone viral on Twitter/X.

Musician Nick made the most of his time on the flight and fired up the in-flight entertainment. He wrote: "I have the whole row to myself on this transatlantic flight, thanks to me accidentally booking my original flight out of the wrong airport and having to book a new flight last minute. I have never felt more blessed."

A follow-up tweet which took in 26,000 likes revealed how he was spending the flight. Each screen in his row had one of the Mike Myers-starring Austin Powers movies playing.

Nick added: "Watching all 3 Austin Powers movies at once." His binge watch got even better as Nick nodded off after posting his tweet, waking up to "20 notifications of people saying 'yeah baby'," the catchphrase of the eponymous character.

Nick's antics on the flight delighted members of the public, with users saying it was a sign of "peak performance". Another Twitter/X user wrote: "You should be sitting in the middle, friend."

On each screen were the three Austin Powers films, International Man of Mystery, The Spy Who S***ged Me and Goldmember.
