Iskhak Chelebi Ibn Issa mosque, as its full name is, is one of the oldest preserved mosques in Bitola and one of the most famous Muslim sacred cultural and historical facilities in Macedonia. The mosque is quite tall, with its tower about 50 meters high. It overlooks the area across from the Clock Tower and the Great Bezisten.
The Clock Tower is Bitola's most well-known landmark. It sits right in the middle of the city and stands out with its tall structure. It plays popular music when it strikes the hour.
Sirok Sokak Street is a must-visit in Bitola. It's a broad pedestrian boulevard filled with cafes and shops, stretching from the town square to the ruins of Heraclea Lyncestis.
The Yeni Mosque in Bitola sits in the heart of the city, situated to the right of the Dragor River close to the Clock Tower. Constructed by Kadi Mahmud Effendi in 1558-59, it's referred to as the Yeni Mosque in Bitola, with "Yeni" meaning "New" in Turkish. The mosque's foundation is square-shaped and topped with a dome. Adjacent to the mosque stands a minaret soaring over 40 meters in height.
