Ryanair flight warning as passengers could face delays and disruption
Ryanair passengers have been issued a flight warning for possible delays and disruption on flights to and from the UK.
Ryanair has issued a flight warning for British tourists travelling on flights to and from the UK on Monday, January 8.
An airline spokesperson said: “Potential disruptions to and from the UK due to heavy snow and freezing temperatures.
“Affected passengers will be notified and any passengers travelling to and from the UK on Monday, January 8 should check their Ryanair app for the latest updates on their flight.
“We regret any inconvenience caused to passengers by these weather conditions, which are outside of Ryanair’s control and affect all airlines operating to and from the UK on Monday, January 8.”
Passengers are advised to check the Ryanair app before travelling to the airport for updates on their flight.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning across the UK with “wintery showers” expected in the south.
Britons are advised to expect a “widespread hard frost under any clear skies” with “freezing fog patches” in Scotland.
Despite the weather, there was good news for travellers heading to the airport from London as a planned tube strike was called off.

Travellers who booked through a third party provider should contact their holiday provider for more information.
Affected passengers should be contacted directly by their airline via an email or text message provided at booking.
