A number of countries have been deemed insignificant - that is the risk is basically non-existent compared to other countries

A number of countries have been deemed insignificant - that is the risk is basically non-existent compared to other countries.
Liechtenstein
The German-speaking country between Austria and Switzerland is known for being one of the safest countries.
Thanks to a high number of police on the streets and low crime levels, it’s location between two often-neutral countries also makes it a safer destination to hide.
Those trying to enter the non-EU country, however, will have to fly to Zurich first, as the country has no airports due to its small size.
Greenland
Travelling to Greenland, one of the largest islands in the world, is not easy which makes it a safe destination away from conflict due to its remoteness.
Flights are often expensive and not direct, with travellers changing at Iceland.
The sparse population has resulted in little anti-tourist sentiment with virtually no crime, making it the perfect place to hide.
It also has no political alignment, with most governmental decisions decided by the Danish government, another extremely safe country.
Luxembourg
Another safe country in the world, the only crime threats are of petty crime such as pickpocketing.
However, it is also one of the richest, meaning it is an expensive place to hide out doing a war.
With borders of Belgium, France and Germany, it was overrun during both World Wards despite declaring neutrality.
Yet with the best healthcare, safe districts and built up districts and infrastructure, it is a safe place for staying during any conflict.
Iceland
Similar to Greenland, the secluded island finds it’s safety in its remoteness.
It has also remained neutral, despite being taken over by the British in 1940. WWII led to the economic expansion of the region.
However, similar to Luxembourg, it is also considered one of the most expensive countries.
Crime is extremely low in the country, to the extent it does not have a standing army, the only member of the NATO army to do so.
Despite this, there are military agreement with Norway and Denmark, alongside its own Coast Guard.
