WWE news: Mike Jackson in Twitter spat with Daniel Bryan after beating CM Punk at UFC 225
DANIEL BRYAN has been embroiled in a Twitter spat with CM Punk’s last UFC opponent Mike Jackson.
CM Punk defeated by Mike Jackson in brutal UFC 225 clash
Jackson handed Punk his second defeat in two matches at UFC 225 in Chicago via unanimous decision and probably ended the WWE legend’s career in the Octagon.
According to Give Me Sport, Bryan took part in an Instagram Q&A with his wife as well as former WWE superstar Brie Bella and was asked if he could beat Jackson.
The four-time world champion replied: "I think the answer...I can beat him on the ground for sure... I think.”
Bella seemed more confident than her husband as she insisted that he would definitely win against The Truth.

Jackson didn’t take kindly to the ex-WWE Champion’s statement and took to Twitter to warn him that a match between them would see him suffer the same fate as his fellow wrestling great.
He tweeted: “Hey, @WWEDanielBryan, don’t let your mouth write a check your ass can’t cash. You don’t want to get potatoed like your mans did at #UFC225."
Bryan saw the response and decided to end the row by simply replying “Interesting” to the UFC fighter’s comments.
The Leader of the YES Movement is now set to compete at Money in the Bank this Sunday at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois against Big Cass.
Cass has been taunting and attacking the former World Heavyweight Champion for weeks but Bryan made him tap out with ease at Backlash.
Both rivals failed to make the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match as they failed to win a Triple Threat Match against each other and Samoa Joe.
Their feud may continue after this Sunday's Pay-Per-View.
