Why is The Undertaker not at WrestleMania? WWE legend not scheduled for WWE supershow
THE UNDERTAKER is currently not scheduled to appear at WrestleMania 35 this Sunday at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
WWE: The Undertaker gets emotional in 2019 interview
Undertaker is one of WrestleMania's biggest attractions thanks to his stunning win-loss record of 24-2 and his unforgettable matches against the likes of Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Brock Lesnar and more.
Taker hasn't missed a single WrestleMania since 2000 but it seems like he may be absent from this year's Showcase of the Immortals.
The Deadman now wrestles on a part-time basis with WWE due to his advanced age of 54 and the long list of injuries he has suffered throughout his glittering 29-year career.
The Phenom also seems to be taking a new direction in his career as he will be making appearances in wrestling conventions that are not involved with WWE.
There was definite unhappiness about him doing the Starrcast thing
That is why the seven-time world champion has removed any affiliation with the wrestling giants from his personal social media pages.
The ex-WWE Champion is now set to appear at the Starrcast II wrestling convention on May 25 in Las Vegas.
This has raised a lot of eyebrows as the event takes place on the exact same night and place as rival promotion All Elite Wrestling’s first ever major show Double or Nothing.
Meltzer said: ”There was definite unhappiness about him doing the Starrcast thing.
"Undertaker’s special to Vince and you know, it didn’t go down well with him at all.”
However, nothing is yet certain about Undertaker's WrestleMania status as legends do tend to make surprise appearances at The Grandest Stage of Them All.
Last year at WrestleMania 34 The Demon of Death Valley made a shock return for an impromptu match with John Cena.
The Last Outlaw won the fight in less than three minutes with just one Chokeslam and a Tombstone Piledriver.
