Conor McGregor could appear with Becky Lynch at WrestleMania: Huge WWE theory revealed
CONOR McGREGOR has been rumoured to appear at WrestleMania in the past but this year with Becky Lynch in the main event it could be the perfect opportunity.
Lynch is set to clash with Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in the first ever women’s match to close the show.
The winner of the Triple Threat match will be crowned both the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion.
And with Lynch the favourite could you imagine if UFC superstar McGregor got involved.
McGregor has been linked with an appearance at WrestleMania before and this could be the perfect opportunity.
But UFC supremo Dana White has insisted the 30-year-old will not be appearing at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
“It’s not true. It’s absolutely not true,” he said.
“I literally just texted Vince McMahon five minutes ago.”
White then showed short messages text messages from the WWE Chairman which read ‘News to me,’ and ‘It might be a good idea someday, but not now’.
Conor McGregor COULD make WWE appearance says insider
Lynch fuelled speculation of linking up with McGregor last November.
She tweeted: “The Man channels no one. @TheNotoriousMMA & me are bonded as Irish brother & sister.
“But if I ever got within 2 miles of him I’d break that bond, and his arm, in three short seconds.
“I’d be too tempting; he’d completely understand too. Proper12 after.”
And McGregor was quick to respond to The Man.
He explained: “Call me when you need Proper back up.”
WrestleMania takes place from midnight UK time on Sunday evening.
Lynch is the current favourite to make history and pick up the victory in the first ever women’s main event.
