Undertaker ANGERS WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and it could have MAJOR issues
THE UNDERTAKER has angered WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon leaving a potential WrestleMania 35 appearance in doubt.
The Undertaker returns at WWE's Raw 25
Undertaker performs on a part-time basis in WWE due to his advanced age of 53 and his long history of injury and makes a series of non-wrestling appearances outside of the promotion.
Taker is scheduled to be part of the Starrcast II wrestling convention on May 25 in Las Vegas.
This has raised a lot of eyebrows as the event takes place on the exact same night and place as rival promotion All Elite Wrestling’s first ever major show Double or Nothing.
According to the Mirror, the publisher and editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Dave Meltzer claims this has angered McMahon.
There was definite unhappiness about him doing the Starrcast thing
Meltzer said: ”There was definite unhappiness about him doing the Starrcast thing.
"Undertaker’s special to Vince and you know, it didn’t go down well with him at all.”
Undertaker’s future is unknown as Meltzer previously suggested that he may have retired as a wrestler.
The veteran wrestling reporter argued that The Deadman is not pat of any WrestleMania plans and may not get involved in any other shows in Saudi Arabia.
Meltzer said: “At least as of a week ago he was not doing either [WrestleMania or Saudi Arabia] and obviously [WWE] can panic and the Saudi Arabia show if the Prince wants him they can offer him so much money to do it, but as of a week ago he was not on either show.
“So I think he’s retired as a wrestler.”
Recent reports from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claim WWE are trying to get Undertaker involved at WrestleMania despite the retirement rumours.
But his upcoming Starrcast appearance may change any potential plans.
